A quick lunchtime post to get everyone caught up:
-Busy day for roster moves on Tuesday. First, Tim Sestito was recalled to New Jersey when Andrei Loktionov was injured over the weekend and was unable to go for Tuesday’s home game against the Rangers. Turned out, Sestito was just an extra and ended up scratched along with Loktionov and Mark Fayne. To presumably take Sestito’s place for the time being, Harry Young is back up from Kalamazoo…and back to the Free Young campaign we go.
-Later Tuesday afternoon, Jeff Frazee was returned to Albany after Marty Brodeur was finally reinstated from injured reserve and back in action. Scott Wedgewood is still on the roster for now, but I would think a return to Trenton for him is imminent.
-Finally, the best news of all happened this morning: Mattias Tedenby is back skating with the team for the first time since the skate cut incident a month ago in Adirondack. It should not be long before he makes a return to the lineup.
