-Albany goes into the weekend’s action with a 25-23-4-5 mark and 59 points. They stand 4th place in the Northeast Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference.
-All but two players are making the trip to Newfoundland. For his hit on Senators forward Matt Tassone in the third period on Sunday against Binghamton, the AHL suspended Cam Janssen for the next 5 games. He will not be able to return to the lineup until March 18th. Kelly Zajac will also miss the trip after re-aggravating a lower body injury.
-With the possibility of one extra forward for the two games, Alexandre Carrier has been recalled from Orlando and is making the trip.
