Latest News/Notes:

The Bruins are hanging on to the final Atlantic division playoff spot, leading 5th place Bridgeport by two points, but are also two points behind third place Hershey, with a magic number of 21; Providence is missing goaltender Malcolm Subban and leading scorer Jordan Szwarz due to injuries; the Bruins are in the middle of a 3 in 3 weekend, going right back to Hartford tomorrow afternoon; goaltender Zane McIntyre, who leads the AHL in GAA and save percentage, was recalled to Boston on an emergency basis on Saturday.

And Happy River Rats Day, Part Deux!  It’s the second and final River Rats throwback day.  Ironically enough, former River Rats captain Kevin Dean, a member of the 1995 Calder Cup champions, will be in house…as the Providence head coach; despite the shootout loss, Albany lowered its magic number to clinch to 20.
